Nine Willig, Williams & Davidson Lawyers Named to 2011 List of
Pennsylvania Super Lawyers
May 24, 2011
Nine labor and employment law attorneys from Philadelphia union-side law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson
have been recognized by Thomson Reuters, published annually in Philadelphia
magazine, as 2011 Super Lawyers. Attorneys named to the Super Lawyers list are those who have been identified by their peers as among the best in their practice areas. Only five percent of all Pennsylvania attorneys achieve Super Lawyer status each year. Following the comprehensive selection process, which includes peer nominations and evaluations coupled with third-party research, Deborah R. Willig
, Alaine S. Williams
, Stuart W. Davidson
, Nancy B. G. Lassen
, Ralph J. Teti
, Deborah M. Lerner
, Irwin W. Aronson
, Bruce M. Ludwig
and Michael G. Dryden
were recognized as 2011 Super Lawyers.
“Each day the attorneys of Willig, Williams & Davidson give their all to deliver excellent legal counsel and representation to our clients,” stated Willig, who serves as managing partner of the firm. “We are honored to have so many of our attorneys recognized as 2011 Super Lawyers, particularly in light of the peer review process used to identify those worthy of inclusion on the list.”
Only those lawyers who have attained high peer recognition in their areas of concentration, demonstrated ethical practices and achieved worthy professional results are recognized as Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. To ensure that only top practitioners are named to the annual list of Super Lawyers, candidates are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Among these indicators are verdicts and settlements; experience; honors and awards; special licenses and certifications; pro bono and community service efforts; and scholarly lectures and writings. The ultimate objective of Super Lawyers is a credible, comprehensive and diverse list of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for other practitioners and consumers searching for legal counsel.
The three named partners of the firm have each been recognized as Super Lawyers annually since 2004. Ludwig has been named to the list each year since 2005. Lassen, Teti, Lerner, Aronson and Dryden have all been honored with multi-year listings.
