Elizabeth Farry
An associate in the Philadelphia office of Willig, Williams & Davidson, Elizabeth Farry focuses her practice on union representation and employment law matters. She counsels and represents labor unions and individuals before state and federal courts, administrative tribunals and arbitrators in a wide range of matters, including discrimination claims, employee benefits, election law, collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations, among others.
As a labor and employment lawyer, Elizabeth secured summary judgment in federal court on behalf of a union client accused of violating state and federal disability law, and successfully defeated the appeal challenging the district court’s decision in the matter. She has successfully arbitrated numerous grievances, including one awarding over three hundred thousand dollars to the aggrieved union members. She has defeated numerous discrimination claims brought against union clients and counseled clients on a variety of issues related to collective bargaining, grievance arbitration and state and federal law.
Elizabeth earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law, where she received prestigious scholarships and served as head teaching assistant for the law school’s legal practice course. She graduated cum laude from Lafayette College, as a double major in philosophy and government, earning honors in philosophy and receiving the Novak Prize for Academic Excellence and Community Service.
