EMPLOYMENT GROUP

   

    Our employment group focuses on the special needs of workers who are not protected by collective bargaining agreements. We provide guidance to individual employees in handling difficult workplace disputes, advise on employee rights to compensation and health benefits, help executives and professionals negotiate employment contracts and partnership agreements, and provide comprehensive litigation services.

    Our experienced attorneys handle the full range of employment and disability discrimination matters, including but not limited to, the Family Medical Leave Act, COBRA, ERISA, wrongful discharge and employment related contract litigation. We bring a wealth of trial experience and aggressive advocacy to bear on our clients' disputes. We routinely represent clients before administrative agencies and in federal and state courts in the Mid-Atlantic region and in California.

    Our attorneys frequently lecture on employment matters at seminars and institutes providing continuing education to the practitioners and serve as adjunct faculty at area law schools.
