Heart & Lung Benefits

Public safety employees, such as Police Officers and Firefighters, are also entitled to injured-worker benefits that are superior to those offered under the Workers’ Compensation law. Under Pennsylvania's Heart & Lung Act, if public safety employees are injured on duty, they are entitled to receive 100% of salary and certain benefits for the duration of their temporary disability.

Willig, Williams & Davidson frequently represents Police Officers and Firefighters in order to obtain and protect Heart & Lung Act benefits.
