The National Academy of Arbitrators Annual Meeting "The Effects of the Economic and Budgetary Crises on Arbitration"

In a town hall format, discussion leaders will involve attendees in group discussions on the impact of current economic and budgetary conditions on the procedural and substantive issues that the parties face in both grievance and interest arbitrations.   Topics will include: furloughs and layoffs; pension and health insurance issues; factors considered in interest arbitration (non health and pension); jurisdictional disputes; and bankruptcy.
