"You Get What You Pay For: How to Successfully Challenge Releases Under the OWBPA in the Post-Guidant Era"

In this workshop, plaintiffs' counsel who defeted the release of federal age discrimination claims in the seminal case of Pagliolo v. Guidant will review the current state of the law concerning reductions in force, discuss the varied methods used by employers to attempt to avoid required disclosures under the OWBPA, and share strategies for mounting successful challenges to waivers and releases in group reductions in force.
