Michael P. Fenerty

An associate in the Philadelphia office of Willig, Williams & Davidson, Michael Patrick Fenerty concentrates his practice in domestic relations and family law and wills, trusts and estates. He counsels and represents domestic relations clients in matters including divorce and equitable distribution, custody and support, adoptions, and protection from abuse matters. He also represents clients in estate planning and probate matters.

Mike is member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Family Law Section. He is also a Member of the Nicholas J. Cipriani Family Law American Inn of Court in Philadelphia County in which he has been awarded the organization’s highest ranking of “Master of the Bar.”

In furtherance of the firm’s social mission to give back to the profession and the community, Mike serves as pro bono corporate counsel to several non-profit organizations. These include the Olde Richmond Civic Association of which Mike was a founding member and currently serves as president; The Ladies of Port Richmond breast cancer awareness and prevention charity which has raised more than $250,000 for research and to provide access to mammograms in local hospitals; and The Friends of Pops Playground in Philadelphia. Mike has also accepted pro bono court appointments as a Guardian Ad Litem or Child Advocate in complex custody cases in order to protect the interests of children whose families are in crisis. In 2008, 2009 and 2010, he was honored as a member of the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania's Pro Bono Honor Roll.

Mike is graduate of Villanova University School of Law where he was honored with the Wapner Newman Wigrizer Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. As an undergraduate student, he was member of the Alpha Epsilon Rho Honor Society and graduated with honors.
