Jessica represents consumers in finance-related matters such as residential foreclosures, consumer lending, and bankruptcies. She has litigated on behalf of clients in state and federal courts, with a primary focus on residential mortgage lending, commercial lending, and consumer finance, including claims arising under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

She is known for establishing priorities in litigation and effectively managing multiple cases concurrently. Jessica has successfully negotiated and obtained loan modifications for numerous borrowers to allow them to remain in their homes.

A passionate advocate for those affected by kidney disease, Jessica is a member of the National Kidney Foundation's patient advocacy and engagement program, the Kidney Advocacy Committee. After donating a kidney to her father in 2014, she became an advocate for congressional funding for research to treat and prevent kidney disease.

WHAT INSPIRES ME ABOUT MY WORK

"I have spent the last six years of my practice mostly representing banks and lenders, and I am now very excited to be representing people and helping them reach a better outcome."

AWAY FROM WORK

“I’m a huge Eagles and Phillies Phan. I like spending time exploring Philly and trying new restaurants, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, going to concerts and spoiling my nephew.”

  • Managed foreclosure and bankruptcy litigation portfolios.
  • Obtained summary judgment awards related to claims raised by consumers alleging claims of predatory lending, lack of standing to foreclose, and violations of TILA, RESPA, and state unfair trade practices laws.
  • Successfully preserved the rights to a $1 million loan in a case involving a scrivener’s error in the legal description of the original mortgage.
