Partner Irwin W. Aronson Helps PAHRA Calibrate its 'Moral Compass'

March 9, 2015

On Feb. 23, 2015, Willig, Williams & Davidson partner Irwin W. Aronson spoke to the annual Capitol Conference of the Pennsylvania Association of Housing & Redevelopment Agencies (PAHRA).

Aronson co-presented “Ethics—Our Moral Compass” along with Catherine Wyatt, staff counsel to the Harrisburg Housing Authority. The session was part of PAHRA’s “Hot Topics in Housing and Administration” conference, which was attended by senior staff members from Public Housing Authorities throughout the state. PAHRA is the statewide association of public housing authorities and redevelopment authorities that operate in Pennsylvania.

The session discussed ethics in the workplace, especially as related to public housing, including specific policies and standards of conduct that should be considered to ensure compliance with federal and state law and best practices.

An experienced labor and employment and governmental affairs attorney, Aronson has served as general counsel and solicitor for the Harrisburg Housing Authority since 1987 and recently was named the first general counsel to PAHRA in its history.
