Attorney Ryan Hancock Presents Paper at Legal Writing Institute Conference in Seattle

On Tuesday July 21, 2015, Willig, Williams & Davidson of counsel attorney Ryan Allen Hancock will present a working draft of his paper, Social Practice in Art and Law: Applied Storytelling, at the Legal Writing Institute Conference at Seattle University School of Law. The paper addresses the integration of traditional art practices into direct legal services. The model is based upon the Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity’s (PLSE), which was co-founded by Hancock, innovative collaboration with the People’s Paper Co-Op.

The collaboration with the People’s Paper Co-Op works, through art making, individuals directly impacted by the criminal justice system to develop the tools, skills, and networks to advocate for themselves, their families, and residents across Philadelphia.
