Aneesah El-Amin-Jaamia focuses her practice on domestic relations and family law. As a partner with the legal services practice group at Willig, Williams & Davidson since 2007, she focuses on guiding clients through divorce, support, custody, equitable distribution of property, adoption and domestic violence matters.

Direct and empathetic, Aneesah conveys a clear idea of what clients can expect and how their case will proceed. Clients have praised her competence, compassion and clarity. She works most frequently in Philadelphia and the five-county area as well as South Jersey. Before joining the firm, Aneesah clerked for the Honorable Susan F. Maven, Superior Court of New Jersey.

WHAT INSPIRES ME ABOUT MY WORK

“Family law matters are incredibly impactful and emotional. Every divorce and custody dispute is different, and every client is unique. My legal representation is tailored to meet the needs of each client and his or her family. I take the time to fully inform them about the law and options available so that we can work together toward the desired outcome. I enjoy making productive steps toward resolving cases both in and out of court.”

AWAY FROM WORK

"I am a member of Urban Sketchers—a group that meets monthly in Philadelphia to capture the beauty of the city via sketches. I love to travel and have visited four continents and a number of countries, including Peru most recently."
