Jesse Bernstein is proud to fight for unions and their members. Having started his legal career as a law clerk and summer associate at the firm, he now works together with its respected labor attorneys in solidarity with workers everywhere.
Jesse has a sophisticated understanding of arbitration and works closely with our labor law practice group to help union clients organize, bargain, serve their members, and win. While a law student, he assisted our attorneys in a variety of matters for labor union clients, with a special focus on preparation for interest and grievance arbitrations, drafting briefs petitioning for relief from arbitrators and state and national labor authorities.
A former journalist who has reported on national and local news, Jesse pays close attention to the issues that matter most to working people and uses his legal training to support them in their fight to be heard. He is committed to serving as a strong ally to unions and union members.
WHAT INSPIRES ME ABOUT MY WORK
"Since my days as a law clerk with Willig, Williams & Davidson, I’ve never wanted to work anywhere else. Every day that I’m privileged to spend working on behalf of our union clients is one spent trying to make the world a more just place for working people.”
AWAY FROM WORK
“In my spare time, I read everything I can, attend American indie rock shows at any one of Philadelphia's many small to mid-size concert venues, and spend time with my fiancée, Sara.”
