Lauren M. Hoye Presents at Yale Law School’s Robert M. Cover Retreat

Details: Willig, Williams & Davidson partner Lauren M. Hoye will present at Yale Law School’s Robert M. Cover Retreat during the weekend of Feb. 22, 2019. She will join law students, academics, and fellow practitioners committed to public interest law to share their own experiences and educate attendees on the nuances of their law practices.

Hoye will be leading the following workshops:

  • Careers & Issues in Labor Law and the Labor Movement
  • Teacher Strikes, Public Sector Unions and the First Amendment

The retreat is dedicated to the vision of Robert Cover, a Yale Law School professor and social change activist. The retreat focuses on Cover’s four principal goals:

  • Connecting students with common goals and interests from across the country;
  • Creating a network of professors, peers, and practitioners for students headed toward careers in public interest;
  • Providing a forum for discussions about change and growth pertaining to public interest law; and
  • Providing a platform for change in the public interest sector and perceptions about public interest law.
