Partner Jessica Caggiano Discusses ‘Wage Equity: Women’s Economic Rights in the Workplace’

On March 31, 2022, labor attorney Jessica Caggiano gave a presentation entitled “Wage Equity: Women’s Economic Rights in the Workplace,” during the Franklin Inn Club’s Thursday Roundtable luncheon.

The discussion focused on common challenges faced by workers in the private and public sectors, and on recent attention-grabbing examples such as wage disparity issues raised by the United States Women’s National Soccer Team in its equal pay lawsuit and the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association’s fight for better pay and working conditions. Caggiano joined Willig, Williams & Davidson Managing Partner Deborah Willig and labor attorney Larry Goodman to represent the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association in negotiations to secure its first-ever collective bargaining agreement earlier this year.

Caggiano concentrates her practice on labor law, including handling labor arbitrations, contract bargaining and litigation for public and private sector unions. She also offers ongoing advice, training and presentations on topics ranging from workplace discrimination and social media use in the workplace, to grievances and labor arbitration.
