Willig, Williams & Davidson Attorney Irwin Aronson Presents at AFL-CIO

Aronson, together with firm associates Jessica Caggiano and Joseph Richardson, also wrote a paper that was presented and discussed at the conference

PHILADELPHIA (June 2019) – Philadelphia labor, employment, workers’ compensation and family law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson is pleased to announce that partner Irwin W. Aronson recently presented at the annual AFL-CIO LCC Union Lawyers Conference in Detroit, Michigan.

A paper co-written by Aronson and Willig, Williams & Davidson associates Jessica Caggiano and Joseph Richardson formed the topic of discussion during Aronson’s session. Entitled “Knowledge is Power: Information, Research and Strategy in Collective Bargaining,” the paper discussed methods of obtaining information during labor negotiations.

The annual conference was organized by the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, a national membership organization with more than 2,100 lawyers from more than 500 union-side law firms and legal departments nationwide. Its mission is to facilitate the exchange of information and strategies, mobilize union-side lawyers in labor movement programs, provide legal education and networking opportunities, and assist members in recruiting and retaining new lawyers and lawyers of color.

Practicing out of Willig, Williams & Davidson’s Harrisburg office, Aronson is a respected appellate advocate who concentrates his practice in labor and employment law, employee benefit matters, governmental affairs and legislative drafting and analysis. He possesses a broad range of experience in litigation and legislative matters ranging from fair labor standards and unemployment compensation, to housing and urban development, to elections and voting rights.

Caggiano and Richardson both practice out of Willig, Williams & Davidson’s Philadelphia office. Caggiano focuses her practice on labor and employment law on behalf of individuals while Richardson focuses his practice on labor law on behalf of unions.
