Willig, Williams & Davidson Attorney to Discuss Hiring Initiatives During Philadelphia EEOC Workshop

Date: June 8, 2023

Time: 12 p.m. ET

Details: Employment attorney Ryan A. Hancock will participate in a virtual event titled “Eyes Wide Open on Hiring Initiatives: Strategies to Recruit and Retain the Best Employees Workshop,” presented by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Philadelphia District Office. The workshop will focus on incentives employers can offer to attract and retain talent to remain relevant and competitive in a historically tight labor market.

The EEOC is responsible for enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee because of the person’s race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information. The organization offers workshops which cover a variety of employment issues.

Hancock is a fierce advocate for the rights of individuals in employment law matters. He has successfully litigated a broad range of discrimination matters including claims involving sexual orientation, religious accommodation, disability, race, sex and denial of employment based on a criminal record. He also represents clients in wage and hour and whistleblower matters and in contract disputes and formation and internal investigations. He has served as co-lead counsel in several class action lawsuits and has appeared before a variety of federal district and appellate courts on behalf of plaintiffs.
