Details: Ryan A. Hancock will participate in a panel discussion at the American Constitution Society (ACS) Philadelphia Symposium 2023. Entitled “Exploring the Renewed Resurgence of the Labor Movement,” the session will explore the impact of unions and organized labor on the workforce in recent years.

The panel will be moderated by Jennifer Lee, professor at Temple University Beasley School of Law & Penn Carey. Hancock will be joined by Adam Rizzo, President of the Philadelphia Museum of Art Union, and Temple University Graduate Students’ Association members Laurie Robins and Matt Ford.

The ACS Philadelphia Symposium 2023 is organized by the American Constitution Society Law School Chapters at Drexel University, the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University, Temple University, and Villanova University. The panels will cover a wide range of topics regarding public welfare and the law.

Hancock is a fierce advocate for the rights of individuals in employment law matters. He has successfully litigated a broad range of discrimination matters including claims involving sexual orientation, religious accommodation, disability, race, sex and denial of employment based on a criminal record. He also represents clients in wage and hour and whistleblower matters and in contract disputes and formation and internal investigations. Ryan has served as co-lead counsel in several class action lawsuits and has appeared before a variety of federal district and appellate courts on behalf of plaintiffs.
