Willig, Williams & Davidson Attorney to Serve on Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee

PHILADELPHIA (February 2024) – Pennsylvania labor, employment and workers’ compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson is proud to announce that associate Felicia Carter has been selected to serve as one of seven attorneys on the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Executive Committee.

The committee manages and directs the business and activities of the Young Lawyers Division’s more than 2,900 members, including oversight of 20 committees in the areas of public service, law-related education, and service to the legal community. Each year, seven new members are elected to serve three-year terms. The division is comprised of all Philadelphia Bar Association members who have not reached their 40th birthday or members who are 40 or older and have been practicing for less than three years.

“I am thrilled to serve my colleagues in the Philadelphia legal community as part of this historic bar association,” said Carter. “The Young Lawyers Division does such important work to support professional development and networking opportunities for our generation of attorneys. I look forward to working with my colleagues to help provide fellow young lawyers with opportunities to learn from each other and develop as professionals while advancing the legal profession.”

A labor lawyer devoted to fighting for equitable treatment of workers from all walks of life, Carter works with Willig, Williams & Davidson’s labor law practice group to ensure clients receive the fair wages and working conditions to which they are entitled.

Carter earned her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, graduating in May 2023. Before joining the firm, she completed a clerkship with the Honorable Ashley Chan at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she served internships at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Office of Federal Operations and at Mazzoni Center Legal Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Saint Joseph’s University.
