Jessica C. Caggiano will discuss representing workers who use marijuana in labor arbitrations

Details: Willig, Williams & Davidson partner Jessica C. Caggiano will serve as a speaker at the UFCW Lawyer’s Conference. The panel presentation, titled “Organizing Cannabis Workers and Representing Workers Who Use Cannabis,” will focus on marijuana’s impact on labor law. Caggiano will discuss important considerations for unions representing workers who use cannabis in the arbitration context.

Caggiano concentrates her practice on labor law, advocating for union and worker rights through arbitrations, contract bargaining and litigation for public and private sector unions. She speaks frequently on topics such as medical marijuana in the labor and employment context, wage equity, social media use in the workplace, and labor and employment laws that affect the workplace. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Medical Marijuana & Hemp Law Committee.
