Willig, Williams & Davidson attorney Kathleen M. Tana will present during the National Business Institute’s webcast CLE program, “Adoption Law: Start to Finish.”

Tana, who focuses her practice on domestic relations and family law, will present on the CYFD adoptions, the various types of adoption; independent adoptions or agency adoptions, same sex adoptions, open versus closed adoption, assisted reproduction adoption, and what should be considered, financially, when planning to adopt.

The program will additionally cover topics surrounding the importance of adoption laws, termination of parental rights, how to handle issues that may arise within an interstate adoption, adoptions that involves other countries, properly following ethical adoption guidelines, a realistic plan when preparing to adopt, and what to do if something were to go wrong.
