Details: Willig, Williams & Davidson partner Lauren M. Hoye will serve as a panelist for a webinar presented by Pennsylvania State University’s LABOR School. Entitled “Worker Power and the Law, Part 2: The Road Ahead,” the program will explore:

  • How current U.S. labor law is structured
  • Changes already made and proposed to NLRB by the Biden administration
  • Legislation proposed in Congress
  • Likely next steps and what they mean for workers and unions
  • An overview of current campaigns to advocate for more effective and appropriate labor law

Moderated by Paul Clark, director and professor of Penn State’s School of Labor and Employment Relations, the panel discussion includes Hoye; labor attorney Brandon Magner; Mariana Padias, United Steelworkers (USW) assistant director of organizing; and Jim Williams Jr., vice president at large, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT).

A partner at Willig, Williams & Davidson, Hoye focuses her practice on labor law, advocating for labor unions and individual employees before state and federal courts around the country.
