Willig, Williams & Davidson Welcomes Labor Attorney

PHILADELPHIA (January 2024) – Labor, employment, workers’ compensation, and family law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson is pleased to announce that Felicia Carter has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s award-winning labor law practice group.

“As a law student, Felicia decided early on to dedicate her career to advocate for equitable treatment for all,” said Managing Partner Deborah R. Willig. “We are glad to welcome her to join our fight to ensure workers are treated with dignity and respect.”

Carter earned her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she was named a Conwell Scholar. She worked as an intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in the Office of Federal Operations, where she drafted administrative appeal decisions for employees filing discrimination claims. She also prepared an internal report on workplace discrimination in the social media age.

Carter furthered her anti-discrimination advocacy at Mazzoni Center Legal Services as an intern supporting the LGBTQ community in issues of employment discrimination, child custody adoption, divorce, and hate crimes. During two additional internships, she conducted research related to employee benefits and prepared memoranda recommending litigation strategies. She also completed a clerkship with the Honorable Ashley Chan at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Before attending law school, Carter earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University.
