Deanna Krokos stands with unions and working people, fighting tirelessly for fair wages and working conditions. She works with the firm’s labor and employee benefits groups, helping unions in the public and private sectors with matters including arbitration, litigation, and contract bargaining.
Throughout her career, Deanna has focused on how the law can be used to protect and advance workers’ rights and fair treatment for all. Before joining Willig, Williams & Davidson, she taught legal writing at Brooklyn Law School, while conducting scholarly research regarding federal labor law and ERISA preemption. Deanna received her law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2021. As a law student, she served as a Peggy Browning Fund Fellow at the National Employment Law Project, externed at the U.S. Department of Labor, and was a weekly contributor to OnLabor, a site dedicated to tracking and analyzing developments in labor law. Prior to her legal career, she worked in policy research, analyzing state economic policy related to work, wages, and public benefits.
