Amy L. Rosenberger and Lauren M. Hoye will present on new developments in employment and labor management relations

Details: Attorneys Amy L. Rosenberger and Lauren M. Hoye will provide an overview of recent developments during panel discussions at the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Labor & Employment Law Section Retreat.

On March 17, Rosenberger will participate in “Recent Developments in Labor Management Relations,” a discussion focused on developments and trends in labor and management issues. Topics include recent NLRB initiatives and rulings, the expansion of protected activity in union and nonunion workplaces, union organizing, DEI and harassment prevention, and pandemic-driven issues.

On March 18, Hoye will participate in “Hot Tips in Employment Law,” a panel on recent developments in various aspects of employment law, including cannabis law in the workplace, discrimination, unemployment compensation, cyber law and the workplace, and immigration.

Rosenberger serves as a trusted advisor to a diverse list of unions representing employees in government service, K through 12 and higher education, transportation, health care, and more. She provides strategic advice to unions on day-to-day labor-management issues, helping clients navigate changes in the legal landscape as well as counseling employees and union representatives regarding employment disputes and their rights under the law.

Hoye advocates for labor unions and individual employees before state and federal courts nationwide. She appears on behalf of clients in arbitrations, negotiations, and administrative proceedings before relevant administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board and the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board. Much of her practice is devoted to counseling and training on public and private sector labor law as well as employment law and employment disputes.
