PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia labor, employment, workers’ compensation and family law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson is pleased to announce that attorney Elizabeth I. Deegan recently ran a training program discussing the basic steps to divorce in Pennsylvania.

The training session was presented for Philadelphia Legal Assistance, which provides free legal support to low-income individuals and families, and Jenkins Law Library. Today, the library is committed to providing value to members and the greater community through outstanding service, comprehensive access to legal and other information, relevant educational programs, the latest technologies, and a hospitable place to work and visit.

An attorney in the firm’s Legal Services division, Deegan focuses her practice on family law, including child custody, divorce, child support establishment and modification, equitable distribution of marital assets, domestic violence issues, grandparents’ rights, adoptions, name changes and relocation issues.

Deegan started her career as a certified legal intern at Philadelphia Legal Assistance, where she helped low-income people navigate domestic violence, protection from abuse, and custody matters. After earning her law degree from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, she began focusing her practice on working with union members in all aspects of family law.
