Elizabeth Deegan provides much-needed peace of mind to family law clients during turbulent times. She offers guidance and counseling on difficult issues such as child custody, divorce, child support establishment and modification, the equitable distribution of assets and debts, domestic violence issues, grandparent’s rights, adoptions, name changes and relocation issues.
Elizabeth began her career as a certified legal intern at Philadelphia Legal Assistance, where she helped low-income people navigate domestic violence, protection from abuse and custody matters. After graduating from law school, she began focusing her practice on working with union members in all aspects of family law issues.
WHAT INSPIRES ME ABOUT MY WORK
When people come to me for the first time, they are often in one of the low moments of their life. I try to help them through that in a compassionate way and see them through their struggles. Hopefully, they end up in a better place. (What motivates her is the ability to help them!)
"Family law matters are sensitive, personal issues, and I work to alleviate my clients’ stress during what is often a very turbulent time in their lives,” said Deegan. “By helping clients reach a resolution of their matter, I can help them regain some much-needed peace."
AWAY FROM WORK
"My husband and I are on a quest to camp and hike in all of our National Parks. We recently visited Bryce Canyon, Arches, Zion, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Rocky Mountain, Big Bend and Acadia."
