Willig, Williams & Davidson Labor Lawyer Stuart W. Davidson adds context to SEPTA Strike for The Philadelphia Inquirer

Willig, Williams & Davidson labor lawyer Stuart W. Davidson was recently quoted in The Philadelphia Inquirer about his insights on union strikes. The article focused on the timing of the most recent SEPTA Strike. TWU Local 234 chose to walk out eight days before Election Day because it would pressure SEPTA to an agreement.

Davidson added context to the story by explaining the importance of timing in other strikes. He cited his experience with the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties union. The union strategically planned its strike for mid-semester. This provided the faculty with time to prepare for the strike, but allowed for time to make up classes after the strike.
