National Academy of Arbitrators Annual Meeting The Effects of the Economic and Budgetary Crises on Arbitration."May 29, 2010 The theme of the annual meeting is "Looking Back and Looking Forward on the 50th Anniversary of the Trilogy". Fifty years ago,in a series of cases now known as the Trilogy, the United States Supreme Court established arbitration as the primary means of settling workplace disputes arising out of collective bargaining agreements. The Conference will include a gathering of leading labor arbitrators and advocates from the US and Canada. Nationally recognized scholars, commentators and practitioners will explore the future of arbitration, labor law and labor management relations.
